You'll find there are wedding shower invitations to match almost any theme such as kitchen, a bridal tea, garden luncheon, lingerie, etc. As an added personal touch, choose a style with a recipe card, a wedding wishes card or a marriage advice card attached. If not attached, you can simply insert one of these special cards with the invitation asking the guests to fill it out and bring it with them to the party.
Bridal shower invitations should include the bride’s name, the names of those hosting, the day, date and time along with the name and address of the location. If you need to know how many guests will be attending, you may want to also list an RSVP phone number.
Be sure to let guests know if the shower is going to be a surprise so they don’t mention anything about it to the bride ahead of time.
If it will be a couples wedding shower, be sure your invitation design and wording are appropriate for that type of celebration.
Be sure to print out our Bridal Shower Checklist that can be used as a handy guideline in your planning.
Bachelorette Party Invitations
Make sure everyone knows the date, time and where to be for your 'girls night out' to celebrate the bride before she walks down the aisle by customizing and sending one of our fun bachelorette party invitations.
Rehearsal Dinner Invitations
If you are planning to hold a rehearsal the day or evening before your wedding, it’s a good idea to send out rehearsal invitations to provide these select guests with all the details such as time, location, etc.
The wording will depend on who is hosting the dinner. If you, the bride and groom, are hosting, you will be listed as doing the inviting. If your parents are arranging the dinner, the invitation will state the dinner is being held in honor of you and may also list the names of the hosting parents.
